Price: We incur costs on a user-by-user basis through services like support and onboarding. Conversely, the data storage costs we incur on a log-by-log basis are functionally zero. Why should we bill you for that?
Concurrent licensing works for tools where value is tied to time in-app, like CAD. In our case, an engineer might spend just five minutes viewing a map — yet that insight relies on years of data work. And we never want to block engineers from working because all seats are taken, especially during peak times.

We know the pain of software tools built by civil engineers. BoreDM's founder, Louis, is a software developer who encountered gINT while working in operations for a tunneling company. Though he was frustrated and surprised by the outdated user interface of gINT, he was even more struck by the product's lack of built-in data management capabilities.
Looking simply to query his project's borehole data for the depth to caliche across the project's alignment, he instead found himself inspecting PDF after PDF and manually recording the data in an Excel sheet.
Subsequently, Louis consulted extensively with engineers across the globe to build BoreDM, short for Boring Data Management. With a team of experienced software developers, data experts, and geoprofessionals from around the world, Louis built a product which drives efficiency and reduces risk, while helping engineers build high-quality subsurface data assets.
